Scripture: Read: Matthew 7:1-6 Luke 6:37-45 Compare the two passages What “truth” is Jesus trying to convey? In what way will this “truth” impact your discipleship? Read: John 3:16-17 How does V:17 impact your thinking about V:16? How does this change your view of others? PRAYER TIME: Pray that God will prompt your partner to reach out in Christ love to the person they have identified. Pray that your partner will view others differently in light of the scripture studied.

The Beatitudes Matthew 5: 10 “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Include V: 11&12
1.) Read James 2:14-20 Pastor Mike used this passage to correlate with words and actions in proclaiming Christ. Do you agree or not – Is this two sides of the same coin?
2.) Read Matt. 10:16-20 Pick out three significant points for you personally from Jesus’ words.
3.) Read Romans 12:14-21 If this is actually possible give an example from your life or evidence from someone else.

(Hatred, lust Judgementalism, worry, Traditionalism, attitudes, motives, deceit, greed complacency, pride, vice’s) 4.) Have you had any “God Sightings” this week? Explain: 5.) Have you been a testimony this week to the greatness of Jesus Christ with both your words and your actions? Explain: Scripture: The Beatitudes Matthew 5:8“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God” 1.) Read very carefully 1 Chronicles 28:9 and put in your own words King David’s advice to his son Solomon; how does it apply to you? (there are 7 distinct areas he covered) 2.) Read Philippians 3:7-11 How do these verses relate to a pure heart?
