YOU ARE INVITED!!!!

Our entire Church family at Clark’s Valley Zion E.C. is invited to join us for Sunday School at 9:45 AM. We have dedicated, knowledgeable teachers who spend much time preparing lessons for their classes.

Following is a brief description of classes available, where they meet, and subjects to be studied for the Summer Quarter, June, July, Aug. Please join us! All members, friends, and visitors are invited!

This winter quarter Dec. Jan. Feb.- We will have 3 classes in our Junior Department, from pre-school through 5^th grade. All these classes will be using curriculum by Group Publishing entitled  “Faithweaver: Weaving Faith Into Families”. Our Parents class will also be using this curriculum. All these classes will be studying a lesson based on the same scripture each week. The  Parents class will also receive instructions on how to discuss and reinforce the lessons at home with their families. Faithweaver focuses on sparking faith conversations at home and gives parents a common touchpoint with their children week after week. The Faithweaver lessons this winter will be on Jesus, His birth, and His ministry. Unit themes are God Sends Jesus, People Worship Jesus and Jesus Shows His Power. These classes will meet in the following rooms:  

Room 1-Pre K / K                        Room 2- 1^st, 2^nd grades 

Room 3- 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th grades         

Jr./Sr. High Class : 6th thru 12th grades – Teachers: Gail Grubb, David Bull- Room 4.   Fuel: Video series – We are studying the Bible chronologically with applications for today’s teens.

Young Adult/Post High/i-witness class: Teachers: Megan Klase, Ben Moyer - Social Hall: This class will be studying the book of Romans this winter.

Parents Class-Teacher: Bob Grubb-Social Hall:                                                               This class will be using the Faithweaver curriculum, studying a lesson on the same scripture as our Junior Department classes as described above.

Each quarter, our adult elective classes begin a new series of studies, and students are welcome to enroll in any of the elective classes that interest them.

Adult elective: Teacher-John Fulton-Rooms 5&6: This winter, John’s class will be studying the book of Genesis.

Adult elective: Teacher-Lonnie Moyer-Social Hall Studying the Book: Faith and Pop Culture Source: Christianity Today Study Series Subject: Eight lessons dealing with Christian Faith and its relationship with today’s culture; Movies, Books, Sports, TV, Entertainment, Violence, Hollywood and Personal desire for Entertainment. Additional lessons will deal with the Church’s Future from the same series.

Sunday School is a great place to grow spiritually, to study God’s word to learn and apply it to our everyday lives, and to enjoy true fellowship with other believers. Sunday School can be a life changing experience. YOU ARE INVITED! PLEASE JOIN US!
